I was curious how they made their grilled calimari which was the best I ever had. Part of the reason was that it was fresh from the ocean at their back door. They allowed me in to the kitchen while they cooked so I could see their "secret" technique. They seemed more amused than me though - I had to bend over as the ceiling in the kitchen was lower than my head. They giggled the whole time. April 1996 |
